What is involved in a full skin cancer check?

How long does each voucher last?
Each voucher lasts for 6 months from the date of purchase.
What is a GAP VOUCHER?
A GAP VOUCHER covers gap between the consultation fee and the Medicare rebate. At present the Medicare rebate does not fully cover the fee of a comprehensive consultation. Each voucher covers the gap of one consultation at one of our clinics, leaving the user with no further out of pocket expense.

Does the user of a Gap Voucher need to make further payment?
YES, Unlike private health funds which allow for gap payments alone at dentists and physiotherapists, old Medicare regulations require the user do a "symbolic payment" for the Medicare rebate amount (between $37 to $71) at the consultation. We immediately process the full refund electronically into your savings or cheque account attached to your EFTPOS card. In summary, yes, there is a payment to be made but there is no further net cost to the user.

How does the user of the Gap Voucher pay and claim for the Medicare rebate?
Our clinics accept cash, debit cards and VISA / MASTERCARD credit cards. For the refund, the Medicare Easyclaim system via EFTPOS terminal uses a cheque or savings account linked to your card. If the card only has credit accounts linked to it, the refund will take a few more days to reach your registered account via Medicare.
How does a group purchase work?
You are purchasing a Credit Coupon Code which can be used by a specified number of individuals purchasing single Gap Vouchers. A validated Credit Coupon Code will discount the purchase cost of the voucher to zero at checkout.
Can the credit be used for other medical services or products?
The credit can only be used for our skin cancer check consultation.
What do I gift the voucher to the final user?
The Credit Coupon Code will be generated, activated and sent to your email address within 24 hours of purchase. You can email or text the code to your family, friends and valued employees.
What if the user is not eligible for Medicare?
The user will be required to pay the Medicare rebate that would otherwise apply.
How does the user redeem the Credit Coupon Code?
The user must “purchase” a Gap Voucher on our online portal using the Credit Coupon Code. By using the code, the cost will be discounted to zero at checkout. Following the "purchase" registration, they will receive full details via email and SMS.
How many people can utilise the credit code?
The number of credits purchased will determine how many times the code can be used . Take care so the Credit Coupon Code is only provided to intended recipients.
What if I want to purchase additional Gap Vouchers after the initial purchase.
You can perform purchase via this page as per usual. At the same time, Contact us so we can link it to your previous Credit Coupon Code.

Do I know if the vouchers have been redeemed?
For group purchase of more than 20 vouchers, we can set up a notification system to alert you if vouchers have not been redeemed within a specifed period of time.
